ময়মনসিংহের মুক্তাগাছা উপজেলার ঐতিহ্যবাহী শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান নগেন্দ্র নারায়ণ পাইলট বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ে ব্যাপক উৎসাহ-উদ্দীপনার মধ্য দিয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো বার্ষিক ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতা-২০২৫।

বুধবার সকাল থেকে বিদ্যালয়ের নিজস্ব মাঠে আয়োজিত এ প্রতিযোগিতা উদ্বোধন করেন উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা মো. আতিকুল ইসলাম।

বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক আশুতোষ সরকারের সভাপতিত্বে অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সহকারী কমিশনার (ভূমি) লুবনা আক্তার লুনা, উপজেলা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা গোলাম আজম, সহকারী মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা কর্মকর্তা জাকিয়া আক্তার, উপজেলা বিএনপির আহ্বায়ক হাবিবুর রহমান খান রতন, স্বেচ্ছাসেবক দলের আহ্বায়ক রফিকুল হাসান জনি, জেলা যুগ্ম সদস্য সচিব ও বৈষম্য বিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের খাইরুল ইসলাম।

সকালে জাতীয় সঙ্গীত পরিবেশন, পতাকা উত্তোলন ও বর্ণাঢ্য উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে প্রতিযোগিতার সূচনা হয়। দলগত ডিসপ্লে, মশাল প্রজ্জ্বলন ও ক্রীড়া শপথ পাঠ শেষে শুরু হয় বিভিন্ন প্রতিযোগিতা। উল্লেখযোগ্য ইভেন্টগুলোর মধ্যে ছিল বড়দের ২০০ মিটার দৌড়, ছোটদের ১০০ মিটার দৌড়, দীর্ঘ লাফ, উঁচু লাফ, বিস্কিট দৌড়, চাকতি নিক্ষেপ, সুঁই-সুতা দৌড়, মোরগ লড়াই, বর্শা নিক্ষেপ, দড়ি লাফ, যেমন খুশি তেমন সাজোসহ আরও অনেক আকর্ষণীয় প্রতিযোগিতা।

এছাড়া, মহিলা অতিথিদের জন্য "বাজনার তালে তালে বল বদলানো" এবং পুরুষ অতিথিদের জন্য "চাচা আপন প্রাণ বাঁচা" প্রতিযোগিতা ব্যাপক আনন্দ ছড়ায়।

এসময় শিক্ষার্থী ও অভিবাবক দের সাথে কথা বললে তারা জানান লেখাপড়ার পাশাপাশি খেলাধুলা অত্যন্ত জরুরী ,এমন আয়োজন আগামীতে আরো বড় পরিশরে করার আহবান জানান তারা

এসময় বিশেষ অতিথিবৃন্দ তাদের মন্তব্যে প্রতিষ্ঠার সুনাম সমুন্নত রাখার প্রতি সকলকে আহবান জানান

প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে উপজেলা নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা বলেন, "নতুন প্রজন্মকে দেশ ও জাতীয় চেতনার সাথে সম্পৃক্ত করতে হলে ক্রীড়া ও সংস্কৃতি চর্চার বিকল্প নেই। আমাদের তরুণ-তরুণীরা খেলাধুলা ও সংস্কৃতি চর্চায় উৎকর্ষতা অর্জনের মাধ্যমে আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে সাফল্য বয়ে আনতে সক্ষম হবে।"

বক্তব্য

প্রতিযোগিতা শেষে বিজয়ীদের মধ্যে আকর্ষণীয় উপহার, ক্রেস্ট, মেডেল ও সার্টিফিকেট প্রদান করা হয়। বিদ্যালয়ের বার্ষিক ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতার এই আয়োজনে শিক্ষার্থী, শিক্ষক ও অভিভাবকদের প্রাণবন্ত অংশগ্রহণে দিনটি উৎসবে পরিণত হয়।

এ ছাড়াও আমন্ত্রিত অতিথি, বিদ্যালয়ের সকল শিক্ষক, সাংবাদিক ও অভিভাবকগণ উপস্থিতি অনুষ্ঠান কে প্রাণবন্ত করে তুলে ।
